Death Notice***
Elder Queenie Copeland Kindred passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at her residence.
Queenie graduated from East Suffolk High in 1955 and eventually continued her education at the University of Lynchburg, where she received her Certificate in Ministry. Queenie was ordained to preach in 1993.
Elder Kindred was a member of King Grove's Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was the general mother of the Pentecostal Holiness General Union.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bishop John H. Kindred, six daughters, one son, and a host of relatives and friends.
Queenie devoted her life to helping and caring for others and preaching and teaching the word of God. Her schedule was almost nonstop. I believe that as she neared the end of her earthly journey, she could look back and be happy and joyous for her earthly work..
Yes, Elder Queenie was special.
Her funeral service was held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at King's Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
