Death Notice: Lezma E. Parker-Cobb
Lezma Eliza Parker-Cobb died Wednesday, July 10,2013 in Suffolk, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie Bullock Parker and Adell Parker and her brother, Lonnie Nelson Parker.
She graduated from East Suffolk High School in 1962 and subsequently graduated from Norfolk State University.
Mrs. Cobb retired from the Gates County Public Schools in North Carolina.after rendering 32 years of service.
She was a member of the Suffolk Chapter of Les Gemmes, Incorporated. A national organization devoted to providing a variety of services to increase the viability and welfare of individuals, families and communities. It was started in 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia. www.lesgemmes1955.org
Lezma is survived by her husband, Frederick Cobb and daughters, Crystal and Kesha. Also, a host of family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Crocker Funeral Home in Suffolk, Virginia.

Lezma is gone, but she will be remembered for her works and contributions to society.
