Notice
Margie Thorne Callahan, entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2013.**
Margie graduated from East Suffolk High in 1961, and moved to New York City, where she earned her nursing degree at the College of New Rochelle.
In New York, she retired from the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
Her survivors include her five children, Keith Callahan, Mary Callahan-Satterfield, Inger Callahan-Tapsoba (Idrissa), LaGina Callahan and Eddie Roosevelt Callahan, and two grandchildren she raised, April Callahan and Stan Carter. Also, many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Callahan was an active member of Bethlehem Christian Church.
Funeral service for Mrs. Callahan was held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries.
